About Tineisha Scott
Tineisha Scott (she/her), MS, SW, LMFT, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Social Worker with a Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. She is also a Certified Employee Assistance Professional (CEAP) with experience working within Employee Assistance Programs (EAP).
One of her greatest passions is engaging with people from all walks of life, meeting them where they are free of judgment, and working collaboratively toward their desired goals through a strong therapeutic alliance. She believes that providing a safe space for individuals and couples to be themselves and discuss difficult topics is of the utmost importance.
Her treatment style is holistic, trauma-informed, strengths-based, and culturally sensitive. She has an extensive background working with individuals who have experienced trauma, people in crisis, individuals navigating intimate partner conflict or violence, people involved in the criminal justice system, and those who have been abused, oppressed, or marginalized.
Couples therapy is one of Tineisha’s core areas of expertise. She works with both first responder and non–first responder couples, helping partners improve communication, rebuild trust, navigate conflict, and strengthen emotional connection. She understands how occupational stress, shift work, cumulative trauma, and public service demands can impact relationships, particularly within first responder families.
In addition to couples work, Tineisha has specialized experience working with first responders and their families through individual therapy, couples therapy, and Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM) services. Her familiarity with EAP systems allows her to support both employees and organizations in navigating workplace stress, crisis response, and mental health needs effectively.
She is excited to be present in the moment with you and to listen to understand, not simply to respond.
