About Makenzi Rasmussen
Makenzi Rasmussen (she/her), MSW, APSW, has worked in the mental health field for 6 years. She has experience in clinical outpatient, day treatment, and in-community settings. Her work in mental health began in supporting survivors of childhood trauma and abuse. Since then, her passion for working in mental health has flourished. She has provided in-home and in-community therapy to individuals and families, incorporating skills in CBT, trauma informed practices, mindfulness, cultural humility, and motivational interviewing to work toward client goals.
Makenzi strives to create space for individuals to explore their truest sense of identity. She embraces creativity and doesn’t follow a one-size-fits-all approach. She is open and excited to collaborate with individuals to put their strengths in the center of practice. Makenzi values relationship building and wholeheartedly believes in the power each of our individual stories hold in healing.
